We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

- “Rugged Vision,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Rugged Vision, the manufacturer and seller of rugged solar-powered outdoor security cameras and off-grid surveillance solutions.
- “You,” “your,” or “Customer” refers to any individual or entity that accesses the Site, creates an account, or purchases products from us.
- “Products” refers to all solar-powered security cameras, accessories, and related hardware sold through the Site.
- “Site” refers to the Rugged Vision website and all associated pages, content, and services.
- “Off-Grid” refers to operation without reliance on fixed mains power or wired broadband connectivity.
3. Products and Services
3.1 Product Description
Rugged Vision designs and manufactures rugged-built, solar-powered outdoor security cameras engineered for demanding field environments, including but not limited to remote farms, construction sites, rural estates, and off-grid residences. Our products are validated through real-world field testing under extreme heat, freezing cold, heavy rainfall, and high wind conditions.
3.2 Real-World Performance Disclosure
We design our products for balanced, practical performance rather than over-marketed laboratory specifications. Actual performance — including solar charging efficiency, battery endurance, low-light image clarity, and wireless connectivity — may vary based on environmental factors such as:
- Geographic location and seasonal sunlight availability
- Local weather conditions (cloud cover, temperature, precipitation)
- Installation angle, orientation, and shading
- Distance to wireless routers or cellular towers
- Network congestion and signal interference
We do not guarantee specific uptime, battery life, or connectivity performance under all conditions. Product descriptions and marketing materials represent typical performance under favorable conditions, not absolute guarantees.
3.3 Product Images and Specifications
We make every effort to display product colors, dimensions, and features accurately. However, minor variations may occur due to monitor calibration, photography lighting, or ongoing product improvements. We reserve the right to modify product specifications, designs, or packaging at any time without prior notice, provided that such changes do not materially reduce the product’s core functionality.
4. Orders and Payment
4.1 Order Placement
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected Products at the stated price. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.
4.2 Order Confirmation
After placing an order, you will receive an automated email confirmation containing your order details. This confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of the order. A binding contract is formed only when we dispatch the Products or send a separate acceptance notification.
4.3 Payment Methods

4.4 Pricing

5. Shipping and Delivery
5.1 Shipping Locations
We ship to most countries worldwide. Shipping availability, delivery times, and costs are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Some remote or restricted locations may not be serviceable.
5.2 Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are provided in business days and are approximate only. Delivery times begin from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, weather events, carrier disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
5.3 Customs and Import Duties
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the Customer and are not included in the product price or shipping cost. We recommend contacting your local customs office for an estimate before placing an order.
5.4 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss or damage to Products passes to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier. If a package arrives damaged or with missing items, you must notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery with photographic evidence so we can file a claim with the carrier.
6. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
6.1 30-Day Return Policy
We offer a 30-day return window for unused, unopened Products in their original packaging. To be eligible for a return, you must contact us within 30 calendar days of receiving your order and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Products returned without an RMA number may not be accepted.
6.2 Return Conditions
- Products must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation included.
- Products that have been installed, mounted, or exposed to outdoor conditions are not eligible for return unless defective.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
6.3 Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect the returned Product, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
6.4 Exchanges
If you receive a defective or incorrect Product, we will exchange it at no additional cost to you, including return and replacement shipping. Contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery to initiate an exchange.
7. Warranty
7.1 Limited Warranty
Rugged Vision warrants that all Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 12 months from the date of original purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
7.2 What Is Covered
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in the camera housing, solar panel, battery, internal electronics, and mounting hardware that occur under normal outdoor installation and use.
7.3 What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Damage from unauthorized modifications, disassembly, or repair attempts
- Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic fading or weathering
- Damage from lightning, power surges, floods, fires, or other natural disasters
- Damage from exposure to conditions beyond the product’s stated IP rating or temperature range
- Consumable components subject to normal degradation (e.g., battery capacity reduction over time)
- Products purchased from unauthorized resellers
- Products with removed or altered serial numbers
7.4 Solar Battery Degradation
Rechargeable batteries naturally lose capacity over time. A gradual reduction in solar battery capacity is considered normal wear and is not covered under warranty unless the battery fails to hold any charge within the warranty period.
7.5 Warranty Claim Process
To make a warranty claim, contact our support team with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographic or video evidence. We may request that you return the defective Product for inspection. If the claim is approved, we will, at our option, repair or replace the Product free of charge.
8. Installation and Use
8.1 Professional Installation Recommended
While our Products are designed for user-friendly installation, we recommend following the included installation guide carefully. Improper installation — including incorrect mounting angle, insufficient sunlight exposure, or insecure fastening — may result in reduced performance, product damage, or safety hazards and may void your warranty.
8.2 Intended Use
Our Products are designed for outdoor security and surveillance in off-grid or hard-to-wire locations. You agree to use the Products only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable local laws and regulations regarding surveillance, privacy, and data protection.
8.3 Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use our Products to:
- Violate the privacy rights of others
- Record audio or video in areas where individuals have a reasonable expectation of privacy without proper consent
- Engage in any illegal activity
- Interfere with or disrupt networks or other electronic devices
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or modify the Product’s firmware or software
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Ownership
All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, images, logos, product designs, trademarks, software, and documentation, is the property of Rugged Vision or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
9.2 Limited License
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site and Product documentation for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.
9.3 Trademarks
The Rugged Vision name, logo, and product names are trademarks of Rugged Vision. All other trademarks mentioned on the Site are the property of their respective owners.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Site and Products is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our Products, you acknowledge that camera footage and related data may be transmitted and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
11. Disclaimers
11.1 “As Is” Basis
The Site and all Products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rugged Vision disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11.2 No Guarantee of Continuous Operation
Our Products rely on solar energy and wireless connectivity, both of which are subject to environmental variability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, continuous recording, or real-time connectivity at all times and in all locations.
11.3 No Liability for Security Outcomes
Rugged Vision Products are surveillance tools designed to assist with property monitoring. We do not guarantee that our Products will prevent theft, vandalism, or other security incidents. Customers are responsible for assessing their own security needs and implementing appropriate measures.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rugged Vision and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of use, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use our Products or Site.
In no event shall our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Products exceed the purchase price of the specific Product that gave rise to the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rugged Vision and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:

- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Any claim that your use of the Products infringes or violates the rights of any third party
14. Software and Firmware
14.1 Updates
We may release software or firmware updates for our Products from time to time. You are responsible for installing updates to maintain optimal performance and security. We are not liable for issues arising from outdated firmware.
14.2 Third-Party Software
Our Products may include third-party software components subject to open-source licenses. You agree to comply with all applicable third-party license terms.
15. Account Security
If you create an account on the Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rugged Vision is registered, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Products shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, either party may submit the matter to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant arbitration institution. The arbitration shall be conducted in English.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
18. Waiver
No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such provision or any other provision. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
